Saturday, August 28 & Sunday, August 29 - Gospel Weekend Gospel music will fill the Little Caesars Talent Showcase stage Saturday night and all day Sunday.
Monday, August 30 - Dairy Day This is the State Fair's way of saying thank you to all the dairy farmers that provide us with the state's official beverage, "Milk". Come enjoy the day's great activities from the milkshake contest and cheese auction at Chevy Court Pavilion in the morning to the day long Open Class Holstein Show followed by the celebrity milking contest at the Coca Cola Coliseum.
Monday, August 30 & Tuesday, August 31 - Senior Citizen's Day Seniors 60 years and older are admitted free on these days.
Tuesday, August 31 - Beef Day Beef it's what's for dinner! Follow your nose to the Chevy Court pavilion to watch the grilling contest in the morning and be sure to stop by the Quality Meats Display in the Dairy Products Building where you can pick up your free beef recipes while you watch demonstrations all day by the National Beef Ambassadors.
Wednesday, September 1 - Women's Day Come enjoy the Women's Day Luncheon at The Empire Room (details coming soon). You can also vist the Women's Informational Mini-Fair in the Chevy Court Pavilion from 10am-4pm and enjoy demonstrations, exhibits & competitions in the Art & Home Center all day long.
