In addition to these items, the Florida State Fair will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of its new signature food item, Fair Squares, sold at the 2010 Florida State Fair in Tampa, to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Fair Squares are a beignet style pastry topped with pink powdered sugar. People can only buy and eat Fair Squares at the 2010 Florida State Fair.
The 106th annual Florida State Fair takes place for twelve days starting on February 4 and ending on February 15, 2010. The Florida State Fair – always in Tampa and always in February – is organized by the Florida State Fair Authority under the leadership of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
